Out of Africa

We wanted to do something for the kids' fall break, so decided to go to Out of Africa in Camp Verde. It's a safari and wildlife preserve.  We got to feed the animals right there from the safari truck. It was totally cool.
Lemurs

Grizzly

The bengals were chillin'.
It's a girl grizzly.

They had a lot of Bengal tigers.
Hyenas - never saw any before!

They had a new toy in their pool and weren't sure about it.

They would touch it and then jump and run when it would move.

Python

Sarah got to carry the python around.

Feeding the white tiger was cool!
These guys are nuts - trying to get the tiger to chase them!

The tiger likes her toys!

Gorgeous animal!

No two zebras have the same stripes - like fingerprints.

This animal is endangered with less than 300 in the wild. Will be extinct within 20 years.

Camels don't spit on you unless you are being mean to them - and it's not spit, it's throw up!

The lioness and the white bengal tiger are best friends. She was upset that her roomie was at the splash pool.

The giraffe was definitely m fave!

Pilgrim loves carrots!
