I finally finished with what I wanted to do with the downstairs bathroom. I painted it; stained the cabinets from oak to walnut; installed brushed nickel hardware; created a frame for the mirror out of chair rail and stained it to match the cabinets; put a new lid on the toilet; and hung a new towel rod and light fixture. A totally new look for under $100 doing it yourself!
