We went to the Grand Canyon on Mom's second day here. Flagstaff still had snow, which was beautiful! The Canyon was covered in snow on the rim also, but it was warm enough to be in short-sleeved shirts, so that was kind of wierd! We toured the Hopi House, El Tovar, and the other historical buildings there. We had a picnic lunch, and walked pretty much the entire paved trail along the rim. Saw some mule deer and an elk. We stayed the night in Flagstaff and had diner at Olive Garden before heading to Sedona the next day (next blog).
